All others who were under the GIG formation program will re-register for the 2020-2021 year. The GIG formation will be considered valid as their first year of formation and the child will continue with re-registering as a second year (FF2) participant. Thank you.

First Reconciliation/First Communion Guidelines (Thursday prior to 1st Communion Date Given):

*Falls on the Thursday prior to the assigned date of the child's First Communion.

1. Say/play/write the Act of Contrition/Nicene Creed once a day, eventually the goal is to have them memorize it, especially as they continue their formation under the hands of you as parents, the lead examples and the first Catechists. A printout will be provided the day of First Communion with the Nicene Creed but not for the day of First Reconciliation. We recommend as a good teaching practice to have your child 'write down' the Act of Contrition on a piece of paper prior to doing their First Reconciliation/Confession and bringing it the day of.
